Learn to cook foods that are common on the island, but cooked with a twist!
All ingredients are provided and you get to take your cooked meal with you.
Group Size:
We can accommodate six (6) to eight (8) persons comfortably in our kitchen.
Class Time & Schedule:
Classes generally run for three (3) to four (4) hours.
Arrival: 9:00 am
Lunch: 12:15 - 1:1:15
Departure: 1:30
Who Can Attend:
Classes are geared to persons who really want a Barbadian cooking experience. Children under sixteen (16) should be accompanied by an adult, or have proof of written consent.

What Foods Will be Cooked?
In conjunction with Island Living Foods, our sister company, we cook a range of foods seperately or a combination. In some cases, some foods can form a meal. Following is a list of foods we generally cook during classes:
Traditional: Bajan Corn Bakes (Flat/Mini Muffins); Coconut Bread; Corn Muffins; Pumpkin Fritters; Spinach Balls
Starches & Peas: Macaroni Pie; Pea Stew (based on pea choices following); Rice and Peas (Dried Peas, Split Peas, Black Eyed Peas, Red Beans); Roti (with split peas)
Fish & Chicken: Baked Fish; Baked Chicken; Fish Cakes; Fried Fish & Fish Gravy; Fried Chicken; Steamed Fish; Stir-Fried Fish
Curries: Curried Chick Peas with Mango/Sweet Potatoes; Curried Vegetables; Curried Fish; Curried Chicken
Soups: Corn (Trini-style); Lentil Soup; Split Pea Bajan Soup with pumpkin/squash and corn
(All Soups are meatless, and may/maynot have Coconut Milk. To keep with the Bajan tradition we include, sweet potato, yam, breadfruit, eddoe, pumpkin (if available), as well as our special dumplings and seasonal vegetables.
NB: Rotis can be served with/without chutneys e.g. Mango, Tamarind.
