about me .....

Natalie never considered herself an athlete and will often joke that she was always picked last for the kickball game in elementary school.  It wasn't until her sophomore year of college that she had to take a phsycial education class that Natalie discoverd some sort of athletic ability.  With little options that appealed to her, Natalie decided to give yoga a try.  Since the first time she stepped on her mat with her Kripalu trained teacher, Rachel Schaffer, Natalie knew she would never step off!  She felt transformed in her practice and began feeling the positive effects on her body and mind.

She continued to practice regularly and attributed her regular yoga practice to helping her in times of trauma and depression.

In 2004, Natalie moved to Vermont and began teaching yoga at Mount Snow Academy as a way to help competitive atheletes cope in times of pressure and stress.  Shortly after that, she found a small Bikram studio in Putney, Vermont and began a lifelong friendship with Ellen Abraham, who soon became her mentor.

After completing her yoga certification in Prana Vinyasa with Shiva Rea, Natalie started teaching regularly at Hot Yoga of Putney.  She went on to complete certfications with Mad Dog Spinning and Power Pilates in beginner and intermediate mat training and her love affair with spin and pilates began!

Natalie's classes offer a challenging yet accessible practice in all disciplines.  She likes to encourage her students to take themselves to the next level and explore where they can go as opposed to staying complacent in their practice on the mat and in life.  In other words, she encourages her students to find their fullest expression..on the mat or on the bike and in their life.

Natalie is ceritifed in Prana Vinaysa Yoga, Spinning, Power Pilates beginner & intermediate mat training, NETA certified in Group Exercise, Children's Yoga through Radiant Child Yoga and is currently studying further to complete her certififcation as a nutritional consultant.  She has worked with many prominent trainers including Shiva Rea, Clare Este- McDonald, Shakta Kaur Khalsa and is incredibly grateful to every teacher and student she has encountered as they have all taught her along the way.

She loves working in group settings or one on one with people to help them reach their goals, recover from trauma or help them connect with themselves through the practice of yoga or other disciplines.  She is currently teaching several group classes including children's classes as well as several private clients with sessions tailored to their specific needs such as hyperactivity or attention deficit disorder in children, cancer patients as well as people who are suffering emotionally or physically due to some type of trauma.  The common thread that all these classes hold are Natalie's encouragement for her clients and students to live their fullest expression, connect with their source and shine their light brightly into the world.

Natalie lives a compassionate life in West Chesetrfield, New Hampshire with her husband and soul mate, Brian, and their two sweet children.  Her children are constantly serving as her teachers and inspiring her on and off the mat.  She is incredibly grateful everyday for her life and opportunites and is humbled by the students she is so fortunate to teach.
